The world was still adjusting to the realities of addressing the Covid-19 coronavirus during the May 2020 mini-GISH. Pretty sure the intention for this task was to decorate a protective face mask.

That being said, nothing explicitly requires that approach. I had knit myself an Incognito Cowl a few years earlier. It technically functions as a mask disguising my identity and features a transplanted mustache on the outside.
Ultimately I did quite enjoy my submission photo. Plus it felt rather good to have a completed item 15 minutes into GISH! Plus my teammates were quite happy with my picture. My team is not an “In It To Win It”, so earning maximum points is not a necessity anyway.
